Kensington Locks

-Introduced the MiniSaver lock design, which allowed for attachment to ultra-thin devices with tight clearances around ports by separating  the internal keying mechanism from the locking tip engagement via a carbon steel cut resistant cable.

-Having a single handed operation was an important factor in the design, helping provide an easy user experience while installing the lock.

-Actuating the locking engagement requires a push of a button to secure

the lock into a MiniSaver slot.

-For color variation and additional lock protection, silicone bands could be installed onto the lock body and tip engagement for co-branding opportunities or customization

-Designed and helped implement the entire product family of 5mm keyed locks which offered a unified keying system, hidden pin anti-pick technology, and the opportunity for a reduced footprint with its new compact key barrel design.

-The 5mm Tbar and Nanosaver lock differentiated itself with its compact form factor, and minimal design featuring a knurling pattern accent located on the plated barrel

and key for a premium look and feel.
